The vineyards made a wonderful view from the balcony and terrace, and the quiet was lovely. I stayed two nights; the owners were kind and accommodating, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. I'd definitely stay again if I'm in the area.

We'd been in the apartment in February for school and were quite happy then. This time was absolutely terrible. The bathroom had mold, there was fecal matter in the toilet, and hygiene overall was lacking. The landlady was rude and wouldn't accept criticism. She blamed us for the toilet problem and charged us €30 for a pot she said we'd ruined. We had only boiled water, so we hadn't burned anything. The pot wasn't broken and was still usable, with only the normal metal discoloration from heating. She said, “What did you expect from me at such a low price for the accommodation?” At any price, you expect basic hygiene and cleanliness. I definitely wouldn't recommend it, especially with mold in the bathroom.

The hosts were very friendly, and we'd gladly stay again. The rooms were large and simple, with a big terrace looking out over the vineyards. Comfortable accommodation in a beautiful setting.

Mrs. Baumer looked after our group of friends wonderfully, including serving a fantastic breakfast. The rooms are simple but have what you need, and the accommodation is well placed among the Kaiserstuhl vineyards. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return.
