Abendruhe Hotel Garni

The room worked well for a bit of work, with a firm, comfortable bed, a large desk, and Wi-Fi fast enough for video calls. My bigger concern was the noise: I could hear a neighbor's TV all night, even at a medium volume. Some sections of the curtains were missing too, so morning light would be a problem on a longer stay. Getting in was easy with the PIN when reception wasn't staffed, and when I called after 11pm, someone answered straight away and helped. The hotel is close to the town's shops and amenities without being right among them. The station is a slow walk in winter. There are stairs to most rooms, which means hauling luggage a bit farther, though the outer and room door locks made the place feel secure.
