The breakfast and cafe were delicious, and the whole place has such a lovely feel. It’s a charming hotel in a former Gingerbread factory, with a wonderful aesthetic. The team looking after it seemed to be all women.

Those cakes were incredible, especially the pkumcake and Black Forest cake. The café’s decor feels like stepping into old times, which makes it a really interesting place.

Our stay finished with a tasty brunch, all prepared by our host. The building used to be a gingerbread factory, and you can still see the old oven and traces of its past. Thank you, Katharina, for the amazing hospitality. See you soon! :) We were looking for a romantic weekend outside Berlin, and this was just right. The location is beautiful, our shabby chic room was cozy and very clean, and the place felt relaxing. Its window faced the pension’s garden. We fell asleep to nothing but rain and woke to birdsong. :)
