There are plenty of places to explore on foot nearby, including different stamp stations, so we often left the car behind. This cottage is also in a quiet, central spot that works well as a base for excursions. Inside, it was modern, comfortable, well-equipped, and spotless. We didn't lack a thing and found it genuinely relaxing. We'd gladly come back. Many thanks to the very friendly landlord, Mr. Becker.

A lovely week in a modern log cabin. The garden has a swing, slide, and sandbox for kids, and the place is very family-friendly. The landlord's restaurant is right across from the cottage, with tasty food at fair prices, and it's child-friendly too. Everything was clean, well cared for, and just as the pictures and description showed. The host was really friendly. We'd love to come back and highly recommend it.

Benneckenstein doesn't have a lot of attractions, but the cabin is a great place to stay. It's tucked into the restaurant's quiet courtyard and has everything you need. The landlord was friendly and easy to deal with, and the rental price was very reasonable.

A quick walk across the courtyard takes you to the "Witch's House," where we had a really tasty meal. We often visit Benneckenstein and always feel comfortable there, and this cozy house was no exception. It had everything we needed, and we wished we could have stayed longer. Thanks to the Becker family for a wonderful vacation. We'd be happy to return.

The hosts were very friendly, and the comfortable log cabin had everything we needed. It sits quietly behind the main house and is also handy for visiting attractions in the Harz Mountains. Simply superb.
