The food was good!

Those schnitzels were enormous and seriously tasty. We nearly skipped the place because the outdoor seating looked a little expensive, but going inside was a lovely surprise. The restaurant is nicely decorated, and you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. Service was warm, attentive, and friendly throughout. We'll be back for sure. Greetings from Frankfurt 👍🏽

The vegan mixed grill on the menu was a great surprise. Finding something suitable in restaurants isn't always easy for me as a vegetarian/vegan. My basement room was next to the guest toilets, which was a shock at first, but I ended up being quite happy there. The decor took a little getting used to, though the bed was really comfortable. During my six days in the Harz Mountains, staying somewhere different each night, I slept best here. The woman who welcomed me also served in the restaurant that evening, and she was incredibly kind. The breakfast host was just as lovely. I seemed to be the only overnight guest and had a whole breakfast table laid out just for me.
