Limehome Oberhausen Paul-Reusch-Str.

The location is great, with the supermarket, other shops, and train station nearby, and having a small kitchen is useful. The suite also looks great in the photos. But compared with several other Limehome suites I’ve stayed in around Germany, this one was the worst so far, and the other Limehome locations were much better. The sink seemed clogged, since water pooled unless we turned it off after about 10 seconds. We couldn’t adjust the room temperature: the heated floors stayed warm, and the control display wouldn’t start. The mattress was covered in pills and uncomfortable to rest on. A mattress cover would be such a simple fix. One night, neighbors in the hotel were playing music and shouting at 3 in the morning. I’d think twice before returning to this Oberhausen hotel.

Getting into the building and room with the code was easy. The day before arrival I got a message about online check-in, which took at most 10 minutes. The room was clean, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and there was a heater and AC. We enjoyed our stay, and it was very quiet at night. We only missed having a microwave, and parking near the building was hard to find. On our last day we found an HDMI cable in the closet drawer. We’d definitely come back.
