Breakfast was amazing, and you can also get delicious dinners 😋 The room is bright, with a view of the forest and chickens, and the hosts are lovely.

The food was delicious and the service friendly. The owner still looks after guests personally and shared some interesting history about the house and the area around Oberhof. We came as a family because our son wanted a day at the bike park, and the location was ideal for that. It's a lovely, clean guesthouse, booking was easy, and we'd gladly come back.

The location was the one real plus. The food tasted good, but felt overpriced, especially the €8.50 small bowl of solyanka, which most likely wasn't homemade. The hotel feels run-down. The hallways have mostly old carpet and a musty smell, though thankfully the rooms had no carpet and weren't strongly odorous. Our room was clean, but the price still didn't feel justified. The place didn't have a good atmosphere, and we'll need to stay somewhere else next time.
