Gästehaus Schmid

Breakfast was generous and excellent, with something for everyone, and the room was large and very clean. We were there for five days of skiing after booking at short notice. The guesthouse is peaceful but still close to the bus stop and restaurants. Mrs. Schmid is incredibly kind and accommodating, and we felt very comfortable. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We’ll keep it in mind for a hiking trip when we return.

It feels like home here, and I can wholeheartedly recommend the guesthouse. The hosts are friendly, helpful, empathetic, and generous. They check during breakfast to see if you need anything and share ideas for things to do. It’s quiet, and the bus stop is only a five-minute walk away.

The view from the balcony is fantastic, and the rooms are very clean and tidy. Breakfast is excellent and leaves nothing to be desired. The Schmied family are especially friendly and attentive, with useful information and tips for all kinds of activities. The guesthouse is peaceful, while the relevant amenities are easy to reach on foot. The free Walsercard, provided on arrival, makes it easy to leave the car at home most of the time and take buses for free to all parts of the region. It’s also a great base for hiking. The beautiful scenery and warm hospitality made our holiday unforgettable. We’ve already decided to stay at the Schmied guesthouse in summer 2025. Thanks for a wonderful visit!

Breakfast was fresh, generous, and delicious, and in the lovely weather we could eat outside. We had a wonderful, restful stay. The hosts were very friendly and gave us great ideas for walks and excursions. We can only recommend the place and will definitely return.
