Landhaus Obermaiselstein

We were three generations staying at "The View - Nebelhorn" for a week of climbing and hiking, and it was full of action. The roomy hallway had space for all our gear and shoes, and the maisonette living and sleeping area was comfortable and very clean. We felt at home straight away. The kitchen had everything we could ask for. Booking and organizing the stay went really well, and our questions were answered quickly. Thanks for such a wonderful vacation! 🫶🏻

We spent two weeks in the Rubiorn holiday apartment with our dog, and it was fantastic. It’s a lovely modern place with thoughtful furnishings throughout. They even left a welcome basket for the dog with blankets and towels, and charging cables with different connectors on the nightstand. It’s a great base for hikes around the region. No surprise it keeps getting 5-star reviews. We’ll definitely be back! 😊

We were delighted with the Rubihorn holiday apartment from the moment we arrived for our week with our two children. The dining table had a lovely view, and the large corner balcony, with its big table and four chairs, was comfortable and looked out over the mountains without anything blocking the view 🏔️. The apartment felt like coming home, with luxurious furnishings and countless thoughtful touches. The house and grounds, along with the new carport, have the feel of a small boutique hotel. There’s a cozy seating nook in the entrance hall with a bookshelf and board games. The bathroom and separate toilet are newly done and modern, and the shower is spacious with a rain shower head. Downstairs there are three rooms. The ski room, number 3, has a stainless steel boot dryer for overnight drying. Room 2 is a small but well-equipped fitness room. I was too tired after hiking to use it and preferred the sauna in the evening, while our son loved the fitness room and went every day. The equipment there also seems carefully selected for quality. Our personal highlight was room 1, a renovated little wellness paradise, nicely and comfortably furnished. We booked the sauna through the app for €12 per hour and paid through PayPal. Towels and other things were provided, and we liked being able to adjust the relaxation room lighting colors. The house is centrally located on a small hill, about an 8-10 minute walk from the guest house or bus stop. We’re definitely coming back! 👌

We barely had time to try the sauna or fitness room because the Allgäu landscape was so inviting for cycling 🚲 and hiking 🥾. With the Allgäu-Walser-Card and its Unlimited add-on, we had free or discounted access to lots of mountain lifts, including Nebelhorn, Fellhorn, and Kanzelwand, plus many other activities. The convenient location of "The Views" made it easy to reach several lifts 🚠 by bike. We could park the bikes, head up the mountain, and set off hiking amid breathtaking panoramas ⛰️. We had a wonderful week in Obermaiselstein, and the food was fantastic too. The Nebelhorn apartment was beautiful, tastefully furnished, clean, and thoughtfully equipped, with comfortable beds and great technical features. There was plenty of space for 5-6 people, and we felt at home right away. Everyone’s sad when vacation ends, but I’m sure we’ll return. Many thanks, and see you next time!
