We had a lovely snowy weekend with the kids and our dog. The setting is stunning, and the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the surroundings and buffet, and the kids always found something they liked. We had everything we needed and hope to return soon.

The food was great, and everything was clean. Katharine and Luke made us feel like we were staying with old friends, so we'd happily come back. The old building creaks, but that only adds to its charm up in the mountains.

Getting there means a 15-20 minute hike through alpine forest, and this mountain lodge is tucked away from the usual bustle. It’s a good place to take a break from day-to-day life. The friendly chef made fresh food, mostly local dishes. The staff were lovely hosts and always helped with a smile. Special thanks to Sonia!

We’ll be back. The interior has loads of wood and an old-time feel without looking outdated, and there was even a bonfire. The view was stunning, the food was great, and the hosts were friendly.
