Wouldn't recommend it.

Good.
The way this place treated us was outrageous. I booked two nights because I just needed somewhere inexpensive to sleep and get ready. At first, contacting them on WhatsApp was easy. They sent the offer quickly and answered promptly and kindly. The bill was €116.63: 2 x €45, plus a €19 cleaning fee and 7% VAT. I paid by instant bank transfer before arriving. There is no reception or other hotel staff. You get a code for a key box to collect the key, and there's a slot to return it. They knew I was arriving with my 5-month-old baby. On the booked Friday, September 5, 2025, we reached the hotel after nearly seven hours driving from North Rhine-Westphalia. During the drive, I checked WhatsApp again to make sure the transfer had gone through because I didn't want to find the doors locked. They replied immediately, saying not to worry and that they were glad we were coming. We arrived around 5:30 p.m. and got into the room without trouble. The inside of the building looked modernized and well kept, apart from the smell. The room itself looked like a run-down student dorm, but I didn't mind much since I only needed a bed. We left again after dropping off our bags. When I came back at 11:30 p.m., everything was filthy: the room, bathroom, floor, and refrigerator. I doubt the bed had been freshly made. The sheets were rumpled and smelled bad, the floor was sandy, and there was hair in the dirty fridge door. The microwave was dirty and covered in greasy fingerprints. There were glow-in-the-dark stickers on the windowsill, and even the light switches felt greasy. The bathroom was just as bad. The toilet lid and seat were standing up as if someone had just used it, and the toilet was dirty inside. The bin hadn't been emptied. The sink was disgusting, dirty, and coated in limescale. Instead of soap, there was a nearly empty bottle of dish soap, even though a soap dispenser was there. The shower was unacceptable, with hair in the drain, mold in the grout, and everything dirty and calcified. The floor was sandy, hairy, and greasy, and even the mirror was unclean. It didn't look as though anyone had made an effort to clean. That's no way to treat a person. At 11:45 p.m. I messaged them again on WhatsApp. I politely explained the state of the room and offered to send the photos I'd taken. I'd already booked a different hotel for the second night, and told the "hotelier" I would leave the next morning and ask for my money back. It was an awful night. I felt completely filthy and disgusted. With my baby there, the whole thing felt outrageous and insulting. By 7:56 a.m. on September 6, 2025, I was back in my packed car and leaving the courtyard with my child. About half an hour later, I realized I'd forgotten my son's cuddly toy and messaged them. I really wanted to pick it up before driving back to North Rhine-Westphalia on Sunday. On Sunday, September 7, I asked again for a reply, then drove back without hearing anything, adding another half hour to our drive. Nobody was there, and the stuffed animal wasn't available to collect. On Monday, September 8, I sent another message, set a deadline for a response, and said I would otherwise hand the matter to my lawyer. As of September 11, 2025, I still haven't heard a single word from this person. No reply, no apology, nothing. Outrageous!
Everything was clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Getting in and checking out were both completely hassle-free. I was also pleasantly surprised by the bathroom, which looked much nicer than in the current photos, so it seems to have been renovated. The room had a fridge and microwave, which let us heat our own food in the evenings and avoid pricey restaurant meals. For that level of generosity, the price felt absolutely fair. I'm very satisfied and would happily recommend the hotel.
I stayed in one of the rooms with a renovated bathroom at this nice little hotel in the center. It also had a fridge, dishes, and microwave in the room. Good value, and I'd be glad to stay here again.
