We were right by the Lahn River, and there’s a direct train from town to Koblenz. The hotel itself felt cozy, with rooms that seemed to have been renovated fairly recently. The owners were very friendly. There’s a pizzeria in the hotel, and the modern design and delicious smell from the kitchen made it tempting. We ended up eating at other restaurants because we’d been invited elsewhere.

The staff were very friendly, the restaurant food was okay, and the prices seemed reasonable. Wi-Fi worked very well. My small room had a little balcony with a lovely view of the Lahn, though there was just one outlet by the bed. There was no TV, which I didn’t miss, and no room service either. The hotel and restaurant sit on the B417, right by the Lahn and the Lahn Cycle Path. Traffic was light during the week at the end of September. The sink was in the room, and the shower was tiny with no window. Its ventilation was weak, and the pizza smell from the restaurant kitchen came into the shower. I also found the shower curtain very unpleasant.
