The saunas were really nice, but the cleaning was a joke. During our week there, neither the bathroom nor the floor was cleaned once. They also never replaced the coffee and wine cups in our room with clean ones, even after we specifically asked reception. If the hotel thinks changing towels is enough for guests staying longer, it’s wrong.

The pool area was lovely, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of options. Drinks at the bar were varied and reasonably priced, and free parking was convenient. Still, the price felt hard to justify. The rooms seemed outdated and had no air conditioning, which was a letdown on warm nights. For a spa resort, one soap for hands, hair, and face didn’t feel like enough. Dinner was €49 per person, and that buffet didn’t match the overall experience.

The hotel is quite a maze, and reaching our room was difficult. With all the walking involved, I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who has trouble getting around. That said, our room was quiet, brightly decorated, and had a great view over the open field. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant served delicious food with plenty of choice. The bar had a good range of drinks too. It’s a great family hotel, with lots of activities for children, a huge games room, indoor and outdoor pools, and stables attached where children can go riding. The spa areas have lots of lounge chairs for relaxing, but the saunas were only lukewarm and the steam room was cold, so spa facilities may disappoint.

We have two dogs, and the rooms were welcoming to them. It’s a good place to relax, and we’d definitely go back, though we’d stay longer than just a weekend.

There’s a wide choice of sports activities, but what stood out for me was how peaceful and relaxing it felt, far from any trouble. The rooms are modern and the service was great.
