We spent two lovely nights here for a wedding. The town is peaceful, the rooms are clean, and there was a great countryside view.

The rooms are comfortable and pleasant. One thing to watch out for: there isn't a mat outside the shower, so the floor can be slippery. The towel warmer is also hard to reach, even if you're tall. Breakfast is served in a little side room, which is disappointing when the lovely, bright restaurant sits empty in the morning.

We didn't see anyone from the hotel, so perhaps the lower service rating isn't really fair. We had to check ourselves in and out. In the morning, a basket of bread and toppings was left in the hallway, which was an unusual way to provide breakfast. It was very limited, though: we had to make a bottle of fruit juice and coffee ourselves with the machine in the room. This was probably because of COVID-19, but we'd honestly expected a bit more.
