We came from Berlin by public transport, without a car, and getting there worked out fine. We loved the area for hiking, skiing and the thermal baths in Oberstaufen, and everything was perfect for us. The food was the highlight, and the sauna, infra red cabin and games room were great too. The friendly hosts keep everything impeccably clean. It’s a wonderful place to relax and feel at home, and we’re already planning our next stay.

Whether you visit in summer or winter, this charming little hotel has what you need for an active, healthy and relaxing break. The host gives you the Allgäu Walserpass, the Mobil Pass Allgäu and the Oberstaufen Plus Pass, which provide free access to lots of local activities and public transport. It’s a good place to stay for several days, and I’d happily come back soon.

We live in the neighboring village and come here now and then for the vegetarian menu offered to hotel guests. We can’t comment on the house or rooms since we only come to eat. The four-course dinner has always been inventive and cleverly put together, and above all, really delicious.
