Ferienclub Oberstaufen - Mondi, 87534 Oberstaufen, Germany

Our room had a lovely view over the valley and plenty of space, with everything we needed. The sauna area was outstanding, and the staff were fabulous. We had a wonderful time here, and it was great value.

The pool is large, and breakfast was excellent with plenty to choose from. This is a beautifully situated family hotel with lots of good things to do. Lunch was the biggest letdown. The restaurant was almost empty, yet a simple salad and currywurst took more than an hour. After 50 minutes, we were told it would be “soon,” but then waited another 20. That’s far too long with children. When we mentioned it, the staff acknowledged our comment but didn’t really respond, and eventually offered a free bottle of table water. Dinner also fell short for the price. It’s a shame the reduced lunch and snack menu still can’t be served quickly. There’s room for improvement, especially for families.

The rooms were fantastic, and we enjoyed the good breakfast and a nice dinner menu. We had an excellent stay.

We enjoyed staying here, but the front desk service was a huge disappointment. Dinner service was also poor: our food came out in three separate rounds, and the drinks arrived after the last dish. There were only four of us.
