Our school group had a boy with lots of food allergies, and at other restaurants his choices had been very limited. At the HOTEL ALPENKÖNIG restaurant, he could choose plenty from the buffet and filled his plate like never before. They also made an effort to prepare a meal everyone could eat, so he could feel included with the other kids. The staff were very friendly, the service was excellent, and the food was really good. I’d come back.

My husband and I spent a March weekend at Alpenkönig and are already planning to return. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel, with a classic Swiss chalet feel and a modern look. The family who own it put a lot of effort into making the stay special, and the service, food, and amenities were all top-notch. We’re foodies, and loved the delicious food made with high-quality ingredients. Looking forward to seeing the updates they’ve made.

The room was nice and very clean, and the staff were super friendly. The location, service, and food were all good. My only small issue was the bed, which felt too soft for me. The staff said they could adjust it if I’d asked.

The staff were helpful and super friendly, and the hotel is clean and modernized, from the rooms to the wellness area and restaurant. The cuisine is great too. A lovely place to stay in Oberstaufen.
