The landlord’s manner was a major problem for us. We found him unfriendly and felt watched all the time. The apartment was clean, and it had the dishes we needed, but there was a musty smell, especially in the closet, and the towels were very thin and quite old. We stayed at the Lind holiday apartment in Oberstdorf, but the visit fell short of what we expected. The smell and unfriendly treatment decide it for us, so I can’t recommend it and we definitely won’t return.

We had a very successful stay with the Lind family in April 2025. Our apartment was extremely comfortable and well maintained, with everything needed for day-to-day living. The landlord is a very nice person, accommodating, and always has an answer or a solution. We’ll be back.

We really enjoyed our week there a month ago and would be happy to come back. Others have already covered the details, so there isn’t much more to add.

We had an apartment on the second floor, looking out at the cable car, ski jump, and mountains. Mr. Lind gave us a warm welcome and showed us around the house and area during our two-week stay with the Lind family in July. The house and apartment were very clean and well maintained, and we had everything we needed. We were glad for the complimentary drinks, so anyone taking the cable car didn’t have to carry water bottles. It’s a short walk along the stream to the village, while the hiking area around the Nebelhorn mountain starts practically right by the house. Mr. Lind was always happy to answer questions, chat about the area, and offer useful tips. Thanks for a wonderful holiday!
