The owner was helpful and friendly, and the price was good. My room had a lovely mountain view. It was cozy, warm, and very Alpine, with a peaceful setting that was still an easy walk to town, the cable car, and the train station. Loved it!

The garden is a real highlight. Sitting with a fresh beer and looking out at the Allgäu peaks was lovely. The guesthouse has plenty of charm, clean rooms, a great breakfast, and staff who were helpful, flexible, and attentive. It's a great base before or after a hike lasting several days. In my view, it's the best place to stay in Oberstdorf. We'll definitely be back.

The room was quite small, but fine for the price, and we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was great, and the room where it was served was nice too.
