The hostel has a fun, social feel, with plenty of room to spend the evening. There’s a game room, kitchen, table tennis, and a basketball game table, plus CDs for games and other supplies you can borrow at reception. The staff were always smiling and ready to help, and check-in and checkout were easy. We stayed two nights and really enjoyed it. You collect your bedsheet, pillowcase, and duvet cover from reception when you arrive, then return them downstairs when leaving. Breakfast runs from 7 am to 10 am; you clear and wash your own cutlery. Prices are reasonable for the facilities, and it was clean and budget-friendly, good for solo guests or groups. Scrambled eggs would be a nice breakfast addition. Bring your own toiletries, as the hostel advises before arrival. Getting there by public transport is easy on the 44 bus, which drops you nearby.

The hostel itself is nice, with buffet breakfast and table games, and the location is lovely. Just be aware that buses run infrequently after 5 pm, so getting here by public transport was difficult and I had to take a cab.

The hostel is in a great location and the people working there are wonderful. The rooms are a little small, especially the bathroom, and the shower water wasn't draining properly.

The area is great, though watch out for mosquitoes at night. The rooms were awesome and had Wi-Fi, and breakfast was great too. Really enjoyed the stay. Just hope you get good roommates, or sleep could be hard to come by.

A peaceful spot beside the forest, outside the city. Breakfast had what you need, and you can cook your eggs however you like. The bus stop is up or down the hill, and from there the center of Oberstdorf is only a few minutes away.
