We were here for a weekend ski trip. The room felt a bit dated, but it had everything we needed and was perfectly adequate. Check-in through the key box was straightforward. We especially liked breakfast, with fresh bread rolls, nicely soft-boiled eggs, and muesli, served by very friendly staff. The gondola is within walking distance, and there's a ski storage room too. We didn't get to try the sauna, unfortunately, though having one is a plus.

We had to leave early for our return trip, so they came in early to get breakfast ready for us. Such friendly people, and the atmosphere was great. Breakfast was plentiful, and the welcome was warm. The room had a great view, and the location was fantastic, just 5-10 minutes from the Nebelhorn cable car. I highly recommend it.

We'd love to return. The hosts are friendly and helpful, and everything is within walking distance, so there was no need for a car. The place is very well maintained and clean, with nice large rooms and a good, varied breakfast. It's right in the city center, yet wonderfully quiet.

The best part was how peaceful it felt despite being so central. We could walk to the pedestrian zone or the Nebelhorn lift in about two minutes, and restaurants were close by for the evening, but there was no noise from the surrounding activity. The rooms were plain but very clean, the hosts were lovely, and breakfast was fantastic. We felt at home and thought it was great value for money. We had a wonderful short break here and would stay again if we return to Oberstdorf. All the best to the hosts!
