Hotel Zur Suhle

Breakfast was plentiful, with scrambled, fried, and other eggs available to order. The food was excellent, and everyone was kind and accommodating. We got a warm, friendly welcome, and they even let us park our motorcycles under cover. The hotel is run with real passion, and we felt welcome enough to relax properly. It’s in a lovely quiet spot and makes a great central base for trips. We’ll come back. The room had no curtains and got quite warm, though that was okay for us.

The terrace is stunning, and the whole place is so quiet. We met some really nice people and felt completely at home in this warm, family-run hotel. The owners were friendly, and the food was delicious. We were there for the Pur concert on the Lorely. Thank you for such kind service. They handled our special requests promptly, which I really appreciated.

The bathroom felt dated, though the bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was really good, and the location was peaceful.

Getting here was an “adventure,” with a winding drive over the hills. We brought our dog, which cost €10 per night. The owners and staff were very friendly, and parking was included with plenty of spaces. Breakfast was set out on the table in the morning and had everything we needed. The dinner menu was adequate and fine. Rooms were a decent size, with an uncovered balcony on the first floor. The bathroom has a retro feel, and the TV is small and sits on the desk. The mattresses are on the firm side, but that didn’t bother me personally. The steep uphill walking could be hard for anyone with breathing or mobility problems.
