We had a lovely weekend at the Pension and would happily return. The scenery was awesome, the wine was delicious, and there’s lots to see nearby. We still give it five stars, though a few drawbacks we noticed may not be the Pension’s fault. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious, and breakfast was very good. The people were friendly, and the woman even picked us up from the train station since we didn’t have a car. There are lots of little places nearby to eat and try local wine, and the Rhein River is very close. The medieval castle route through the vineyards and mountains is nearby as well. Oberwesel is a 20-minute walk away, and there are no supermarkets nearby, the closest are in town. Since the place is uphill, we had to order a taxi a couple of times.

The rooms are clean and breakfast is good, though small. The place is high up on the mountain, so if you’re lucky your room will have a stunning sunrise view.

A small, really cozy guesthouse with a wonderful hostess and delicious breakfast. We had a spacious room, but it faced the street and got noisy from 6 a.m. Highly recommended.

There were six of us, aged 21 to 29, staying over the weekend, and we all agreed we’d stay here again if we’re in the area. The owner was incredibly helpful with information and recommendations for local attractions. The place is very central, with a winery just a few meters away if you need one. From check-in, we were warmly welcomed and well looked after. The rooms were spotless and cleaned every day. Breakfast had more variety than we expected, and they promptly handled special requests.

A bright, spacious, clean apartment, and the host is very friendly. Getting here without a car isn’t very convenient.
