We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel and in the town. The hotel served delicious local meals, and the breakfast was amazing. The owner even arranged an early breakfast for us before our flight, and the cook brought out a delightful special cake. Our rooms were beautiful and clean, with views of the vineyard hills and a castle within walking distance. There were three others nearby, too. The wine tasting in the cellar was a highlight of our European vacation, and the owner and staff were amazing and very helpful. This Rhine-side stop was an hour from the airport, in Riesling wine country, and made a beautiful last stop on our trip.

We stay at least four nights and choose half board. Dinner on that plan is very inexpensive for stays of four nights or more, and the included breakfast is the best. This is a wonderful, multigenerational, family-run guest house and hotel, with food to die for. It would be hard to find a better base for exploring the Middle Rhine.

A charming little bed and breakfast, with superb, friendly service. The food was the highlight all around, so dinner and breakfast are a must. And the cherry on top was the wine cellar and its excellent locally made wines!

There’s a real sense of community here, and the welcome was warmer than I expected. The building is charming and has an interesting history, but the hospitality is what stood out. My wife and I had some of the best hotel meals we’ve ever had. Highly recommend!
