The classic German food was just okay to me, nothing special. Still, the service was friendly and good. There’s a small, pleasant garden seating area, plus a little traditional dining room inside. In season, the restaurant stays open a bit longer than many places nearby.

The food was amazing, especially the roulade with red cabbage, prepared in the traditional local style. The garden terrace was beautiful, and the waiter was both friendly and professional, the first I’d met like that on the whole holiday. I left with a big smile after a great dinner.

The Schneider familie are wonderful, and we hope to come back. We had an outstanding goose supper, so well prepared and presented. It’s the kind of meal you just can’t get in the United States. Thank you.

We ate out on the terrace shaded by trees, and the waitress was very nice. The food was great, and my schnitzel was the best I’ve ever had.

The hotel is family run and has lovely views over the river. It’s very relaxing, with a top restaurant, breakfast, and beer garden complex.
