B&B Hotel Stralsund

Since the hotel is fairly new, around six months old, everything still feels fresh. The service was friendly and nice. Just a heads-up, as of April 26 the parking wasn’t finished yet, and the whole area around the hotel was a bit of a mess.

Everything felt fresh and modern, from the rooms to the rest of the infrastructure. The staff were helpful, and the hotel is close to the Ozeaneum and other scenic spots. A nice, newly built place.

The breakfast buffet had a tasty selection and plenty of seats, and everyone on staff made us feel welcome. Our room was large and lovely, with a fantastic view where we could always spot a lighthouse 😊.

The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and breakfast was fresh, good, and regularly replenished. From the fourth floor, the view was amazing. We stayed Monday to Friday with our two children, in a spacious, very clean family room with a great bathroom and a fantastic view of the Baltic Sea, Dänholm, and the Rügen Bridge. The town center is about a 10-15 minute walk, and the hotel offered excellent value for money. We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend it. There were some downsides. Construction noise from the unfinished outdoor area started at 7:00 a.m.; it would have been good to know in advance, or to receive a small concession. The bathroom had no heating, so mornings could feel chilly. The wardrobes are open, which may not suit everyone, and we would have liked scrambled or fried eggs at breakfast. Even with those minor issues, we'd round our 4.5 stars up to 5 without hesitation. Thank you, and best wishes from Berlin.
