Appartements Gahler - Kurort Oberwiesenthal

The owners were friendly and accommodating, and the on-site café was excellent. Our holiday was made even better by the lovingly furnished Fichtelberg apartment, with ideal amenities and a very central location. Oberwiesenthal has beautiful scenery and plenty to do, so it’s well worth a visit. We’ll be back. See you soon.

We’ve already booked the apartment again for skiing in Oberwiesenthal this winter and can’t wait. It was beautiful and very clean, and the hosts were wonderful. The Gahler family takes great care of their apartments.

We’ll definitely stay with the Gahler family again, maybe next time the grandparents can come with the kids too. There’s an attached pastry shop for bread rolls and cakes, which we hadn’t come across before. The house is about a four-minute walk from the ski lift, and in summer we enjoyed some relaxing hikes. We thought about renting bikes but decided not to. We’ve stayed twice, once in summer and once in winter, in both the large and medium-sized apartments, the latter with a view of Keilberg. They’re all very well equipped, with everything needed in the kitchen, bathroom, and living space. The apartments also seem quite modern, perhaps about two years old. Winter in Otal was fantastic, especially for skiing.

The view from the window was fantastic, with Fichtelberg right there, and it was easy to take short walks everywhere. We were four people with an extra bed in the Fichtelbergblick holiday apartment and were completely satisfied. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. We appreciated having a parking lot, fresh rolls delivered to the door, and the sauna for a change of pace. We’d love to come back.
