Kaufmanns Café in Oberwiesenthal was a lovely place for our group of nine. The apartment was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. It felt like home, with thoughtful furnishings throughout. The location also made it easy to explore Oberwiesenthal and the Ore Mountains. Thanks for the warm hospitality. We'd love to come back!

The guesthouse also has a ski and snowboard rental shop in the building, which turned out to be really useful. We could rent whatever we needed, and they serviced our own gear without any hassle, even repairing one of our skis. The staff were friendly and helpful, from sharing tourist information and New Year's Eve tips to promptly mailing a tablet we left behind. Our apartment had plenty of beds and was cozy and well equipped. Its location at the village entrance worked perfectly: the Fichtelberg ski resort and Keilberg in the Czech Republic are a quick drive away, and the village center is only a few minutes on foot. We highly recommend staying here and would gladly return.

The sauna was a real highlight, and getting to the slopes, restaurants, and town center on foot was easy. We stayed with the whole family and were very happy with the clean, well-equipped apartment and the great team. I accidentally left my jewelry behind at checkout. After a quick conversation, they mailed it to me. Thanks so much for the excellent service. Highly recommended.
