Pension Am Limespfad

It’s a very nice, well-run guesthouse in a really secluded spot. Most things were great, but room number 4 has no window in the toilet/shower, and the built-in extractor fan wasn’t working. The bad smell then hangs around in the whole room and the adjoining room, which is quite disgusting.

The place is wonderfully quiet, and the double room is spacious with everything furnished nicely. Breakfast was a real highlight, with homemade jam from garden fruit and honey from the neighbor. There was plenty to choose from, and since I don't drink tea or coffee, they thoughtfully offered me mineral water. It's a lovely privately run guesthouse. I did notice a few cobwebs in the room that could use a cleanup.

A handy place to stop for the night right along the Nibelungensteig trail. The landlady was very friendly, and breakfast had clearly been put together with care. I also liked that dogs are welcome.

The rooms were clean and a good size, and there's a shared balcony plus a common room with board games and lots of space. Breakfast wasn't as extensive as at some other places, but the buffet was plentiful enough and had an adequate selection, including jam made from their own trees and bushes. It's a rural inn out in the middle of nowhere, run very warmly by an older couple. The decor is traditional, though the facilities are modern. A pleasant, personal atmosphere and very good value for money. Thank you!
