Campanile Frankfurt Offenbach

The hotel was clean, and for the price I’d stay here again if I came back to Offenbach. We picked it for the location by the S-Bahn. Our chosen room with a double bed and bunk beds wasn’t available, so they gave us two double rooms instead. We knew before arriving and that worked for us, though one room was much colder than the other, so we barely used it. There weren’t some of the usual extras, like slippers or a toothbrush holder. The bigger problem was that Wi-Fi was down for our entire stay. Since we’re not from Germany, relying on mobile data was really inconvenient.

A good choice for a night or two, with helpful customer service. If you travel with pets, it works well, though there’s an extra charge. Parking also costs extra when there’s no space in front of the hotel. I’d recommend it, you shouldn’t be disappointed.

The parking is behind the hotel in an open lot, and even if you pay, a space isn’t guaranteed late at night. The hotel itself is decent but fairly remote. There’s a bus stop about 30 meters away, though having a car could be a good idea, especially for getting to the old city. Try the Hauptwacher cafe, it’s excellent.

The sink barely drained, which was pretty gross. We asked to change rooms, but they said we’d have to wait until the next day. Since the water did eventually go down, we stayed. The room itself was clean and fairly spacious. Free outdoor parking is handy, though there aren’t many spaces, and the underground garage is €15 per night, which feels steep. Breakfast costs €14, but the 6 to 10 AM hours were too early for us, so we skipped it. There’s a McDonald’s and an Asian restaurant nearby, and having a car makes it easy to get around. It was affordable and well located, so yes, I’d stay again, just with those small issues in mind.
