Sheraton Offenbach Hotel

The staff were so kind and smiley, and their service made the stay more comfortable. Dinner was delicious: I had pasta à la crème with mushrooms, and it was excellent. My room was spacious and modern, though one wall had several dark stains and could use attention. I slept peacefully, and everything else was fine. I was in town for one night because of a delayed flight, and they gave me a room at 1 p.m. even though check-in was officially at 3. The hotel is about 15 minutes from Frankfurt Hbf, with a metro station very close by, and roughly 35 minutes from the airport. I wasn't keen on the Marketplatz area.

The rooms are clean and have everything you need, and breakfast was really good. I wouldn't choose this hotel for dinner, though, and definitely avoid the fries. They're the worst I've ever had.

We arrived at 5 p.m. and the rooms still weren't ready. We ordered dinner while we waited and were told someone would let us know when the rooms were available, but nobody did, so I had to find someone myself. The rooms were okay, nothing special. The food was just okay too, and I wouldn't recommend the beef. It smelled off, and when we told the servers, they basically ignored us. We had to ask several times for the bill and felt like a nuisance. For what you pay, there are definitely better restaurants around.

The location is handy, very close to the Markplatz railway station, and some shops around here stay open until midnight. The rooms were calm and neat, and I had a comfortable stay. I liked the hotel and its food too. Breakfast was good, and dinner was fine.
