We tried it all :) Staying at the hotel is really nice, with plenty of space and a character of its own. The restaurant is lovely and the food tastes great, with enough to satisfy even a big appetite. There’s also a cafe with great coffee and good breakfast choices. Using all the hotel, restaurant, and cafe options makes the stay easy. Everyone we met working across them was friendly and helpful.

We had a pleasant stay, with friendly staff and delicious food. We arrived at 11:30 AM and could get into our room straight away. The nearby Christmas market and beautifully decorated streets were a lovely surprise. The downside is the railway very close to the hotel, as train noise can be annoying.

The people were super kind, and the place has a stylish feel. The hotel rooms are beautifully and individually furnished, and there’s an amazing garden. The cafe is nice for breakfast, and the restaurant is great, with a menu that felt unusually well thought out. Rooms may feel a bit noisy if you’re sensitive to sound, especially those above the bar. I’d say enjoy the bar and its carefully chosen drinks, that’s part of staying in a city hotel. Even a trip to Offenburg just to relax and breathe here would be time well spent. Looking forward to coming back soon!

There’s lots to like about this funky hotel, and their sister restaurant is just down the street. Our room had a bathroom overlooking the bed. It made a wonderful first night on the road for our Mosel / Lahn river rad tour. The one drawback is the railway line right beside the place, so you will hear trains. It reminded me of the Blues Brothers line where Jake asks, “How often does the train go by?” and Elwood says, “So often you won’t even notice.” Funky place, but know what to expect. I recommend it.
