The terrace was stunning, and we were lucky to have beautiful weather during our two nights in the superior suite. There was plenty of space throughout, from the bedrooms to the living room, and the room was bright. The bedrooms were comfortable and had lots of places to charge a phone. They're separated from the living room by a small kitchenette, which I liked. The decor may feel a little sterile to some. The bathroom wasn't large, but it was big enough, and the terrace was lovely. Breakfast was a buffet with limited options, but the quality was very high. The staff were friendly, and the hotel has a good restaurant. The private beach in front has loungers guests can use for free. It's a small village, so nights are very quiet and there's not much to do after dark. Dining choices in the village are limited too, with the hotel restaurant being one of only two, unless you drive farther. It's a good fit if you're after a few peaceful days, and I enjoyed our stay.

The location is amazing, especially for watching the sunset, and the wine selection was good. But the service was terrible. The place was full and they couldn't handle that many people. Our food came late and wasn't the best. I'd only go for drinks or dessert.

We stayed in a renovated junior suite, which was comfortable and had lovely lake views from both the room and balcony. The location right on the Bodensee shore is gorgeous, and dinner was very good. The chef even made a sauce for my friend that wasn't on the menu. The drawback is the lack of an elevator. Hauling a suitcase up two floors with dodgy knees isn't fun.

The rooms and restaurant have fantastic views, right on the coast of Bodensee lake. The staff were friendly and the service was good. The rooms were clean, though some towels had stains. The toilets were very small, and the coffee machine didn't work. Check out is at 10:30. They miss four stars. My star rating legend: Excellent / Exceptional ☆☆☆☆☆ Very good / Special ☆☆☆☆ Above-Average ☆☆☆ Below-Average ☆☆ Something is wrong!? ☆

The rooms are lovely, with a spacious lounge overlooking the little sea. They have lots of character, especially on cold, windy days. The bedding was crisp and fresh, with a rose-like fragrance, but the cushions were too soft. The staff were friendly, helpful, and polite. Our waiter struggled to understand us, but tried so hard. It was sweet to see, and we appreciated the kindness and the honey. Thank you to her. Kindness breaks barriers!
