The apartment made a great base for my outings to the Meyer Werft shipyard, Emden, Leer, Norden/Norddeich, and the Tea Museum in Aurich, where I saw the East Frisian tea ceremony. In Wiesmoor, I can also recommend the flower hall and garden park. Tours are currently held every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. and are included in the admission price. I ate at the trattoria in Wiesmoor several times, too. Everything at the apartment was just right, and the landlords were friendly and helpful. Even the heating worked, which isn't always the case at the end of September. I highly recommend staying here.

You're surrounded by a lovely garden, and the apartments give you plenty of privacy. The hosts are experienced: they leave you in peace but are available when you need them. There's parking on site, and the location is central. You can drive to East Frisian sights and the beaches in 30-60 minutes. It's very good value, and summer availability is limited. If a place opens up, book it.
