This was my third holiday in Oppenau, and I’ve stayed at this hotel every time. It’s a lovely quiet place to relax, with a comfortable room and friendly staff. I could really unwind there. The cozy restaurant has a nice atmosphere and welcoming service, and I especially liked the fresh ingredients and attractive presentation of the delicious food. I’ll stay here again and highly recommend it.

The homemade cakes are delicious, and the owners and employees are some of the kindest people. They really understand good service and make sure guests leave happy. It’s a beautiful hotel in the heart of the Black Forest. Highly recommended, and you’ll see me again. Keep up the great work!

The kids can play at the excellent playground right next door while you enjoy the views. The sweet selection isn’t huge, but what they have is quite nice and fairly priced.

We had dinner at the hotel restaurant every one of our four evenings, which was especially welcome after long days exploring the mountains. You can eat in the garden under the trees, and the food is good. Hotel Mühlenglück sits in a beautiful valley and feels small and cozy. We’d never been to the Black Forest before, and friends suggested staying here. Booking was easy, and they were flexible. The rooms were clean with fresh towels each day. Staff were very friendly and happy to offer personal suggestions for places to visit. Our friends loved it too, and we’ve found our spot for future trips. Thank you.

The place was absolutely spotless, and the staff were so friendly, with good English that made things easier. I had coffee and Black Forest gateau, both delicious, and the dishes going to other tables looked fresh and tempting. I also bought some Black Forest gin. There’s lovely outdoor seating with views for warmer weather, plus a play area to keep the little ones busy. I’d love to return and stay at the hotel. A 10 out of 10 from me!
