I didn’t stay at the hotel, but had an outstanding meal at its family-run restaurant. The food was excellent, and the big salad in the photo with this review says plenty. The service couldn’t have been better. Five stars all around.

Rebstock is a lovely quiet, clean and comfortable base for walks and hikes in the Renchtal area of the Black Forest. We’ve been visiting the region since 1989, so we have plenty to compare, and the dinners here are among the very best around. The breakfast is wonderful too. The owners are focused on service, and the staff are dedicated. Dishes and wines are reasonably priced and delicious, with both inventive new menu items and beautifully prepared regional classics. Starting a Black Forest visit here gives you one of the best experiences, and you’ll want to return.

The owner took time to walk us through the menu in English, which we really appreciated. We felt very welcome, and the staff were amazing and super friendly. The food was delicious and the service exceptional.
