Zieglers Restaurant & Pension

We took a lunch break here while passing through and ended up loving every dish. There was so much flavor and goodness in everything we tried. The scenery is breathtaking too. I wish we’d had the chance to eat here again.

We were lucky to come across this restaurant. The service was helpful, and both meals were fabulous: my husband had venison with gnocchi, while I chose Flammkuchen with goat cheese and apples. I’d definitely recommend it.

There’s a big choice of drinks here, from cocktails, wine, gin and vodka to bourbon, Irish whiskey, Islay and more. I didn’t know every bottle, but counted at least six Highland whiskies. The food is just as memorable: traditional dishes get a bit of creative interpretation and come out original and delicious. The servings are generous, so with a starter or dessert you’ll have plenty of energy for a long walk in the park. A marvel of a place.

Don’t leave without trying the homemade ice creams and sorbets. Ziegler serves traditional dishes with care alongside modern favorites, and everything we had was well prepared. Service was quick and cheerful, even with my poor German. A real treasure in Worlitz.
