The countryside around this little town is lovely for long hikes, and Trier and the nearby cities are well worth exploring. We were greeted so warmly, and the owners were easy to reach whenever we had a question. Our three-generation family had plenty of room in the clean, well-kept house. The kitchen has everything you need, the bedrooms are great, and there’s a toilet on each floor, three in all, with two bathrooms. The fridge was kept stocked with local wine, sparkling wine, and beer. We’d happily come back, and the local winemakers’ tastings were a nice extra.

We really enjoyed the quiet dining space in the flower-filled courtyard, and the landlady was lovely. The place was spotless, and the mattresses were comfortable. I’d definitely recommend it.

The house works really well for a small group, and we felt very comfortable there. We stayed over New Year’s Eve, and everything went smoothly. The landlord was very nice.
