I wasn't expecting much after reading the reviews, thinking it would do for one night. But we were pleasantly surprised when we saw the room and bathroom. The bathroom was in very good condition. One thing we noticed was that the beds are quite low for older people.

The state of the bathroom and bedding was the biggest letdown. The shower heads were moldy, and the mattresses, pillows, and blankets were stained. We had to make the beds ourselves, which was fine, but not for what we paid for three adults and a small child. We'd called 30 minutes before arriving as requested, then waited another 20 minutes for someone to bring the key. I emailed a complaint afterward and got a short reply asking for the photos, which I sent. There was no response after that. I can't recommend this place.

I left after three days because of back pain and the condition of the beds. The mattresses and pillows looked old, worn, and dirty, and my complaint only led to a partial fix. The last photos show the mattress after it was replaced. I wouldn't stay overnight here unless I brought my own mattress. The room itself was adequate, with a small bathroom and fairly modern tiles. The TV looked custom-made, judging by its size, and the little fridge hummed loudly at night. Being right by the train station also meant evening noise.

We hired the downstairs room for a party, and it worked really well. It's modern, nicely furnished, and comfortable, with a very up-to-date kitchen too. The team were great to work with and the service was excellent. Thanks to everyone! 👍
