Hirsch Hotel

Three of us, including two young girls and one underage girl, were left standing on the street late yesterday evening. We had a confirmed booking through Trip.com, but when we arrived, the hotel said it didn’t know about it and no longer worked with the website. They took no responsibility and showed no willingness to help. There was no support, alternative offered, or even basic empathy. We were just told, “Not our problem, deal with it.” For a hotel displaying a 3-star certificate, the customer service and professionalism were shockingly poor. The lack of care, communication, and basic human decency was unacceptable, especially with a minor involved. I’m deeply disappointed and strongly advise future guests to think twice before booking. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

The restaurant is well above what I’d expect from an ordinary 3-star hotel. Its cuisine includes some Swabian elements, and while it isn’t exactly cheap, the quality is absolutely excellent. I can highly recommend eating here. During several business travel nights at the hotel, I had a very good experience. The staff were well trained, very friendly, and courteous, and my room was very clean and had everything necessary, though its style was a little dated. I have nothing negative to say. For a 3-star place at a reasonable price, I’m happy to give it 5 stars and would definitely stay again at the next opportunity.

I really liked how bright and airy the room felt, and it was cleaner than I usually find hotel rooms. There was a small closet, a good TV, a desk, and, especially useful for me, a little fridge. The bed was amazing. I only held back the fifth star because the shower stall was unbelievably cramped, even though the bedroom was a normal size.

Good value for the money and a nice stay. The staff were lovely, and breakfast was great. The room decor felt a bit like the 90s, though.
