We came for a short getaway and were glad we picked this charming little hotel. The room had lovely furnishings, plenty of space for the two of us, and a big, clean bathroom. We both felt very welcome. Breakfast is about a 200-meter walk away, which is nice in the fresh morning air.

The rooms are decorated with good taste, and it's a charming small hotel. Breakfast, and dinner if you want it, are served at the Seezeichen hotel, so you do need to go there. It's only a few minutes away, and the tasty food and lovely team make the walk worthwhile.

The room is clean and nicely furnished, but it's tiny, really just somewhere to sleep. A small bathroom with no window gets stuffy too, and the fan they provide doesn't cool it down. There isn't much fresh air in the room either. The double-paned window is very small, and in summer it gets really hot. Cool air barely comes in, and only part of the window has a mosquito screen. The kitchen right underneath brings noise and smells that carry on until 10 or 11 at night. What a shame.

The restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere, the food is excellent, and the prices seem fair. We got really good advice from the staff, including a wine recommendation that was right on target. I've seen quite a few harsh reviews from people who knew it under the former management, but as a first-time guest I don't share their view. If the place was even better before, I wish I'd had the chance to see that. It's definitely worth visiting now.
