The rooms were too hot.

We had a successful vacation overall. The apartment is within easy walking distance of everything, the complex is clean and well kept, and parking is available. There’s also a bike lock with a key, and the area is good for bike tours. When we got locked out, reception at Parkresidenz opened the door without any trouble. We stayed in the Parkresidenz, House 1, Room 111, in an apartment owned by Anja & Malcolm Jones. There were a few things missing: hand soap, salt and pepper shakers, filter papers, sugar shakers, and wine glasses. The balcony had leaves and dirt on it, and the bathroom sink didn’t drain properly. The table was wobbly. I’d give the room 4 stars.

We booked at the last minute, and the reservation over the phone went smoothly. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Uhlemann.

The apartment gave us plenty of space and was generally well equipped. The location was excellent too, in a quiet area and just a short walk from the beach, so it made a nice base for our stay. We had a pleasant time overall, but some details could have been better. On arrival, the key fob said 341 while the door said 41, so we weren’t sure at first which room was ours. The Wi-Fi was weak and kept cutting out. Cleanliness also needed more attention: the floor was sandy, the toilet wasn’t clean, and the dishes, bowls, and glasses had dishwasher rings. Clearer signage and better cleaning would have made the stay much better.
