It was a pleasure staying at this welcoming, family-run pension. The rooms were lovely, light, and spacious, and the staff spoke English, German, and Spanish. We enjoyed the gardens, private parking, and the quiet, with no street noise. One memory that really stayed with us was having coffee and cake on the terrace in the afternoon. We hope to stay again.

The accommodation was clean, but eggs were only available twice during the week and once on the weekend, and none were organic. When I asked why, I was met with incomprehension.

The guesthouse is peaceful, with plenty of parking and a secure bicycle garage. Our room was clean, breakfast was very satisfactory, and we were always well looked after. The downside was smoking on the balcony and downstairs by the lounge. Smoke drifted into our room, and I could hardly open the balcony door.

Deutsche Bahn was over 2.5 hours late, so we arrived very late in the evening, but we still got a very warm, friendly welcome. The room was just as lovely, and breakfast was generous. Everything was spotless. Thank you for a wonderful stay at the Waldeck!

It's lovely to visit friends, even after 25 years. We're getting older and the children have grown, but the memories are still there. The family-run guesthouse has a friendly feel. It's a bed and breakfast now, but guests can still use the dining room and terrace during the day and evening and help themselves to different drinks. The beach is only a few minutes' walk away.
