Vju Hotel Rügen

The bed was fine, but the noise at night was ridiculous. You could hear the neighbors really well. The sauna wasn't at the temperature it said it was. There was no water boiler, only three coffee capsules, and used toilet paper. Otherwise, seemed okay.

The spa was limited, with only one sauna working and no steam room, and the beach was a bit far away. Still, the staff were kind and accommodating. My wife and I liked the varied breakfast, and our room at Vju Hotel Rügen was modern, clean, and spacious, with a handy kitchenette. It was a comfortable couples' getaway, though those downsides kept it from being all positive.

The breakfast was really great, though it could get crowded and noisy. The views were great too, from the hotel's steep hill with the sea on both sides, but getting to the beach was difficult and it was quite far away. We paid for a sea view room and got almost no view or sun because large trees blocked it. The minibar was empty. The room was modern and the beds were comfortable, though they were just two single beds pushed together. A baby cried through the night in the adjacent room, which had connecting doors to ours, so it didn't feel like a real 4.5-star hotel in that situation. It felt more like a holiday resort in general, which may be fine, but keep that in mind.

Breakfast was nice, though it was so crowded one time that we couldn't find a place to sit with our baby. Check-in was late, and the room felt small for the price. The hotel itself was comfortable and good, but the overall experience wasn't great.
