The cream cheese cake definitely calls for another visit, and next time everyone can have their own slice 😉. We stopped in around coffee time and were lucky to find two tables. It was so cozy that we’d have stayed longer if we hadn’t had an appointment. The coffee was very good, and the service was friendly. Everyone was treated fairly, and the lady behind the counter really knew her job. Fantastic.

We had a wonderful short break, and thanks to both of you. We stayed three nights at the hotel in the town center and were welcomed warmly. Our room was spacious, well-equipped, and very clean, with good Wi-Fi. The beach and pier are a short walk away, and there’s parking on site. The café is run separately by an owner. We enjoyed the delicious coffee and cakes there, and the service was friendly. The breakfast buffet was very good.

After biking around Prerow yesterday, we were hungry and stopped in for a hot drink and a waffle. The weather was so nice that we sat outside in a beach chair, even in November! 😍😍😍 The coffee and waffle were delicious, the welcome was lovely, and the service was very friendly. 👍👍👍

The waffles were good, but the shandy and cappuccino were really bad, and the service meant a very long wait. We won’t go back. I can’t say anything about the hotel itself, since we only stopped for a coffee break.

Café Strandburg is nicely decorated both inside and out, and the cakes are delicious. The service and opening hours, though, are a disaster, so I can’t recommend it. The first time we went, the server seemed overwhelmed and had lost track of things. We saw other guests leave without getting served. The listed hours were supposedly 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, but on our first visit it wasn’t open until Wednesday. The next week we arrived on Friday at 2:00 PM and found the doors shut. There were guests inside, so we knocked, and were curtly told they were closed from 2:00 PM for operational reasons. Nothing on the door or window mentioned that.
