Breakfast could make any day feel brighter, whatever the weather. The whole place has the feel of a small family home, quiet and welcoming, and they take good care of every guest. Thanks to the entire team. We’d happily come back.

We’ve stayed at this centrally located little guesthouse for years, and the staff are always friendly and do their best to look after guests. The delicious breakfast, including homemade salads, is a real plus. Lately that effort seems harder, as some guests appear to expect all-inclusive service. Parking is first come, first served, and with vehicles getting bigger and bigger, finding space is becoming an insurmountable problem.

The buffet had plenty of variety, from rolls and boiled eggs to cold cuts, cheese, jam, quark, and yogurt. We were there over Easter, and on Sunday there was even a little chocolate Easter bunny on the table. The rooms were very clean and tidied daily, and the staff were attentive and friendly. It’s a cozy guesthouse, just minutes from Wilhelmstrasse and its many restaurants. Himmelstreppe at the end of the street leads down to the pier. A kettle in the room for tea or coffee would be a nice extra.

The daily parking situation was the one thing that shaped our routine. There aren’t enough spaces, so arriving late can leave you without a spot, and finding parking without a ticket is difficult in Sellin with all its parking bans. Apart from that, the accommodation, service, and breakfast were perfect, and it’s a wonderful place for a holiday.
