Pension Villa Frohsinn

The rooms were beautifully furnished, spotless, and well cared for, and everything felt thoughtfully organized. We felt completely at home at Villa Frohsinn. Breakfast was delicious, varied, and clearly prepared with care. You can tell hospitality and quality matter here. Nothing to complain about, we’d happily return and can absolutely recommend the place. T&H 👍🫶❤️

I’m quite likely to come back, even though I usually enjoy trying different places. The location makes it easy, with the pier, Wilhelmstrasse, grocery store, and bakery all close by; the “Rasender Roland” and AHOI swimming pool are also within walking distance. I appreciated the two large free parking areas at the villa, since free parking isn’t a given at other places I’ve stayed. I hadn’t booked ahead because it was off-season, but the friendly hostess welcomed me anyway and everything was simple. My room was excellent, clean, modern, and had a balcony. The beds were incredibly soft, and tea and coffee were available in the hallway. You can tell they really care about service.

We liked the apartment so much that we booked directly on site for our next visit. We spent a few days in one of the three holiday apartments and got a warm welcome when we arrived. It’s set back from the guesthouse grounds, so it’s wonderfully quiet and relaxed. The modern furnishings are still cozy, and we found everything we needed. Breakfast is available in the main guesthouse building, just a short distance away if you want it. Wilhelmstraße, with its restaurants, bakeries, and cafés, as well as the pier and south beach, are all easy to reach on foot. Highly recommend it if you’re after somewhere comfortable, quiet, and cozy in Sellin.
