Villa Imperator

We found it easy to get around on foot, and the parking behind the building was a huge plus since we arrived by car. The apartment was spotless, tidy, and had excellent amenities. We spent a long weekend there with two friends, and it was just right for our short trip to Sellin on Rügen. The pier and beach are nearby, and from Imperator Hotel you can head straight into the forest for lovely walks and hikes.

We felt very at home in this spacious, lovely holiday apartment, and check-in and check-out were completely straightforward. It’s only a short walk to the pier. I’d say it works best for up to four people, since beyond that there aren’t enough dishes and cutlery and things get cramped.

The parking spot could be a nuisance at this time of year, since acorns dropped onto the car from the trees all day long. The Wi-Fi was also very poor, practically unusable, and we measured just 0.89 Mbps. As for the apartment, it was clean and tidy, though a few doors were slightly crooked, including the fridge and balcony window, which got annoying. One sofa bed in Imperator 2 was so worn it made sleeping difficult. The claim that six people can stay here is way off. Four is fine, maybe five at a stretch. Getting in was easy: we picked up the keys and went straight inside at 10 a.m., which helped because some of our group had limited mobility. Otherwise, it was decent and good.

It’s a very nice apartment, though it could use a little work. The living room armchair is broken, with split wood and nails sticking out. There’s also some mold starting in the bathroom. A few extra glasses would be helpful.
