This was our second visit in two years, and we thoroughly enjoyed it again. The owners are such caring, welcoming people, and the place is quiet, restful, tastefully furnished, and very well appointed. We like being near town, with an easy walk down the hill, and being able to drive wherever we’re headed. We’ll definitely come back! Thank you, Juergen and Ulrike.

The hosts gave us such a warm welcome, including delicious homemade cookies. They’ve clearly furnished the holiday apartment at Atelier Horn with their own needs in mind, and it’s exceptionally well equipped and in a quiet area. We’ve stayed in plenty of other holiday apartments, but this one has been far better than any of them. If I could, I’d give it 10 stars instead of the five allowed. We’d love to return! 👍👍👍

This was our third stay in a year, in August, and the Horn couple made us feel welcome again. They’re always friendly and ready to help or share information, including about hiking tours. Anyone interested in painting should ask to see Mr. Horn’s studio. His watercolors are beautiful. The apartment is lovingly and tastefully furnished, very clean, and well maintained. The kitchen has everything you need, with coffee and tea provided, and a cold welcome beer was waiting in the spacious fridge when we arrived. There are mosquito nets on the windows, plus a terrace for comfortable meals. The hosts also provide lounge chairs where you can watch the birds in the enchanting garden. We’ll be back!

We felt very welcome during our visit to Cologne for Anuga. The house was neat and very clean, and the host gave us a tidy tour and explanation. It’s a lovely holiday home in a beautiful, art-like garden, with a superb mountain view. Everything has been thought of, including a dishwasher and washing machine. The host was very friendly.
