Pension "Zur Inselbrücke"

I was able to get a room at short notice, which was great. It's basic and a little dated, but inexpensive and clean. If you don't have particular expectations for the decor, this place should suit you.

The friendly woman on the phone and the guesthouse's location near the train station were about the only positives for me. I had booked two nights on my own, but felt uncomfortable almost the whole time, especially as a woman travelling alone. The place was nearly empty and felt abandoned, the reception was unattended, and a few workmen were renovating. My room was sparse and gloomy, with no holiday feel, though the bathroom was okay. I left after the first night and spent the second somewhere else because I felt extremely uneasy. The price seemed high for what was on offer. Such a shame.

Mrs. Hanemann was so nice that we'll definitely return. We spent five days at the Inselpension Wolgast and really enjoyed it. The room was great and spacious, with a kitchenette and bathroom.

Breakfast was delicious, with everything fresh and appetizing, and Mrs. Hannemann was very friendly and accommodating. We've never had a room this clean, either. It was well furnished, and the location was fantastic, just a short walk from the train station and city center. Some four star hotels could take notes. Thanks, we'd gladly come back. Highly recommended!
